The owner of the strangest house in San Francisco was sued because of the decor in the courtyard
The San Francisco Bay Area city of Hillsborough has filed a lawsuit against the owner of the quirky Flintstones home, alleging that she is violating local codes by placing dinosaur sculptures in her backyard and making changes to the landscaping.

The city filed a lawsuit against media mogul Florence Fang, the former owner of San Francisco Examiner, who acquired an orange-and-purple house in the shape of a bulb in 2017 for $ 2,8 million, writes Fox News.
“My grandmother hasn’t even seen the papers yet. She only found out about this today from the news. I'm sure she will fight to save the Flintstone House. Stay tuned,” her grandson Sean Fung said in a statement. “As a San Mateo County native, I think dinosaurs are beautiful. They make everyone smile and should stay where they are.”
NBC Bay Area noted that Fang is not asked to change the structure of the house, the changes should affect only dinosaurs and other objects in the yard.
After buying the house the hostess took up its improvement. She installed large metal sculptures, a signboard on the driveway labeled “Yabba Dabba Doo”, figurines of characters from the animated comedy series “Flintstones”, a staircase, a parking lane, a deck and made other additions to the front and back of the yard.
In October, the city commission concluded that the changes created "a very noticeable eyesore and do not meet community standards."
The complaint was filed after Fang fulfilled the instructions of the commission to remove new items.
