Weather channel meteorologist Kevin Roth warns that a tropical hurricane will bring with it a new wave of torrential rains that will trigger new floods. Everyone who lives in the lowlands and areas of possible flooding, experts advise to leave the areas of residence and move to higher places.
The storm will hit this afternoon, on the coast, with strong wind and powerful surf. Its impact zone will cover the territory of Victoria, capture the south-western part of Houston and reach Lake Charles in Louisiana. Rain will bring 10-20 centimeters of rain, in some places - up to 30 centimeters. In part of the schools of Houston on the eve of the hurricane canceled classes.
