On Russian TV talked about how Americans flee from the United States to Moscow
The story says that Americans are leaving the country because of "exorbitant taxes and high prices."
According to TJournal, in its NTV report, it relies on a Gallup study published on January 4. According to this study, 16% of Americans would like to leave the country. This is a record figure: under George W. Bush, they wanted to leave the United States for 11%, for Barack Obama - for 10%.
The “one third of all Americans” indicator referred to by NTV in the study belongs to the sociological group “from 15 to 29”. Among women at this age, the rate is even higher - 40%.
Almost a third of all Americans dream of leaving the United States. They are driven out of the country prohibitive taxes and high prices. Some were looking for a better life in Europe, in the Crimea, but they settled in Moscow after all. They say that "the quality of life has improved at times."
The increase in the number of people willing to emigrate in the study is called the "Trump effect." Regardless of differences by sex, age or income in the surveyed groups, the main motivator of the move is the American president. To leave the country want mostly those who do not approve of his policies.
