A man from Florida tried to buy a child from his parents right in the supermarket, and this is not the first time

Police said Helmut Kolb was arrested at a house on Sterling Chase Drive.

According to police, he tried to buy the girl on 16 August. The officers said they were alerted "out of the parents' apparent concern that someone insisted on trying to buy their daughter at the grocery store."

According to the indictment under oath, the girl's parent told police that Kolb approached them, complimented the child's appearance and asked about her age. According to the parent, it was a "harmless but creepy conversation," the affidavit says.

As the parent and child left the store, the affidavit says, Kolb followed them and yelled to get their attention before saying, "Look, I just want to make a deal." Passers-by tried to intervene and asked him why he was offering money, but he went back to the store.

Kolb had previously been arrested for trying to buy a child at a Walmart in Port Orange. He is serving a 5-year probation that began in August 2019 and is not allowed to come into contact with underage children. Fox News.
