A tyrant husband killed a 23-year-old Ukrainian woman in the United States: parents collect money to come for the body

4 April, the body of 23-year-old Ukrainian Tatiana Guzhvy was found in the city of Wisconsin-Dells, Wisconsin. In connection with her death, her husband, 31-year-old Fuad Pashayev, was arrested. Tatiana's parents are trying to raise funds to come to the United States and take away her daughter's body to their homeland, but even more they worry about a two-year-old granddaughter, whose fate is unknown.

As the Wkow, in January, Pashayev was charged with 11 incidents of domestic violence against Guzhva - for example, he poured boiling water on her face, beat her, tried to strangle her and killed her dog. One day, a man threw a frying pan at his wife just because their one-year-old daughter was crying loudly.

The criminal lawsuit states that Guzhva ran away from home on Washington Avenue to a nearby police station and said she was afraid of death at the hands of her husband. The online recordings of the court session show that the court prohibited Pashayev from contacting Guzhva and their child, as well as appearing in their home.

4 in April at 16: 30 dispatch center 911 received a call that caused the police to go to the house to Tuguy. According to the police, the body of the woman was found in her house; no one else was there.

Pashayev was hiding, but later he turned himself in to the police with a confession and was arrested. He is now in the District of Columbia prison awaiting formal charges.

Police Chief Jody Ward says the Ukrainian consulate in Chicago has been notified of the young woman's death. Ward notes that he will “help the family coordinate,” but Guzhva’s friends and relatives claim that absolutely no help has been received from representatives of the American authorities.

Now friends are raising money for Tatiana's parents so that they can come to the United States to get the body of their only daughter and find strings that would lead them to their granddaughter, said on page Ukrainian Chicago on Facebook. Supposedly she was taken in by social services, but her grandparents can't get information. The goal of collecting information and funds is to reunite the girl with her family and transport Tatyana’s body to her homeland. The author of the message writes that Guzhva did not seek help because she was intimidated by her husband’s threats.

The relatives of the deceased Ukrainian woman are shocked by what hell Tatyana lived in, they confess that they learned about the details just now, writes Dialog.ua.

In the US, Tatyana came back in her student years: she went to 2015 year with the popular Work and Travel program. Then the girl decided to stay in the country, married Pashayev, an Azerbaijani by nationality. It turned out that Pashayev was robbing a Ukrainian woman and it was not clear where his wife's loan money had gone.

Relatives of the deceased said that the police did not immediately come to Tatiana’s home and only after they demanded intervention. According to some reports, the murder took place on March 30. 31 March Tatiana's daughter was one year old, and it seemed strange to her close ones that the girl did not get in touch with them. All messages in social networks were read, but Tatiana did not respond.

Her husband began to lie that, they say, the girl went to work and forgot the phone at home. Then he said that he was not at home, and his wife was sleeping with her daughter. In the end, Pashayev said in the phone that he had killed Tatiana. Relatives did not believe at first, but Pashayev said that he had dealt with the girl on March 30.

The police, at the request of the friends of the deceased, arrived at the house, where they found the Ukrainian woman dead. The authorities have not yet announced the cause of death. To take Tatyana's body back home, 25 thousands of dollars will have to be paid out, plus funds are needed to pay lawyers for custody of the daughter of the deceased, as well as for Guzhva’s funeral.

“The (US) authorities have made it clear that these are exclusively our problems. And we have no idea where to get that kind of money,” the family said a few days ago.

Now on page GoFundMe, created in memory of Tatiana, has already collected more than 28 thousand dollars.
