Newlyweds from Texas must pay a million for posts in social networks

In Texas, a jury awarded a $ 1,08 million compensation to a wedding photographer who claimed that a couple of newlyweds had publicly disgraced her on social networks and destroyed her career.
According to NBCOn Friday, 28 July, a jury ruled that Neely and Andrew Moldovans deliberately published false information about photographer Andrea Polito, and these posts, according to court documents, became slander.
In accordance with court documents, in 2014, the couple hired photographer Andrea Polito to shoot their upcoming wedding. But in 2015, the couple stated that Polito demanded an extra $ 125 from them for getting their wedding album. They claimed that this additional cost was not included in their contract, and they had already spent thousands of dollars on the photo.

In an interview with 2015 of the year NBC Dallas-Fort Worth the couple said that the office manager Polito informed them that their album would be confiscated if they did not pay for it.

All this bullying humiliated me and destroyed my business,” says the photographer. She added that the couple's slander left her unemployed and forced to take money from savings and retirement accounts.
According to the jury documents, the jury acknowledged that the couple acted with malice and ordered to pay the victim $ 1.08 million dollars in compensation.
