In Sterling, Virginia, Yesha Callaghan ordered food delivery at La Porchetta restaurant and left a review on Yelp. After that, a restaurant manager came to her at night to discuss a review. Mashable.

The girl ordered a hamburger and potatoes. Arrived to order the courier was very kind.
"The delivery guy was friendly and asked for feedback on Yelp", says the girl.
Callaghan opened the order and found a “pitiful-looking potato” and a hamburger without lettuce or tomatoes. The girl put the restaurant 3 stars from 5.
“Maybe next time I’ll try pizza,” the girl added in her review.
At 22: 00, the restaurant manager knocked on her door. When the girl did not open, he dialed her number and left a message on the answering machine.
"Hi, this is (inaudible name) manager The porchetta. I'm at your door. I would like to talk to you about your review on Yelp"The message said.
The girl did not open, and called the police. The policeman was surprised by the reaction of the manager.
After this incident, Callaghan returned to Yelp and lowered its rating to 1 stars.
“I originally gave this place 3 stars but downgraded to 1 because the restaurant manager came to my house at 22pm that night because he didn't like my review and wanted to talk. He called me repeatedly to let me know he was at the door. In the evenings I don't open the door to anyone. How dare you come to my house? What kind of business do you have? I told the police. I also wouldn't be surprised that all the positive reviews were left by friends or colleagues of the restaurant's employees, because many people did 00-1 reviews, according to their profile information. Next time, don’t ask to leave a review if you don’t want to hear the truth,” the girl wrote.
Restaurant owner The porchetta said that the manager came to the client's house to apologize for the order and bring a new one. Yelp apologized for the action The porchetta and confirmed that their delivery partner would terminate the contract with the restaurant for “violating their terms of service”.
