Maria Butina said she was ready to admit guilt
Russian woman Maria Butina, whom the United States accuses of spying for Russia, is ready to change her testimony. It is reported by Reuters, referring to court documents.

Butinu is accused of the fact that under the guise of a student she collected information about US officials and tried to influence US policy towards Russia, writes Rtvi.
Allegedly, one of the ways was an attempt to establish contacts in the National Rifle Association (NRA) of the USA in order to influence the Republican politicians.
According to investigators, the former then deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Russia Alexander Torshin and two US citizens, one of whom, activist Paul Erikson, met with a Russian woman helped her with this. The NRA is one of the main lobbying structures in the States.
Butinu Detained in July 2018 and formally charged. Initially, she refused to admit his guilt.
Now, according to Reuters, the 30-year-old Russian women’s lawyers have asked the court to hold a new hearing on the case as soon as possible so that Butina can change her testimony. Probably, the girl went on a deal with the investigation, said AP.
The trial in the case of Butina is supposed to be held on December 11-13.
