In the study GOBankingRates compares the cheapest round-trip flights available for one person from Los Angeles (LAX) to New York (JFK or LaGuardia). Ticket prices were obtained directly from the airline websites in August 2019 of the year, for travel on two dates: October 15 and October 17 2019 of the year.

The most expensive airline: Southwest Airlines
