Made with love: FDA against the feelings on the labels
The FDA, which is controlled by the Ministry of Health, did not appreciate the advertising move of the company, which tried to tell customers that their product was made with "love."
FDA asked for groceries Nashoba Brook Bakery remove "love" from the composition of granola - snacks from nuts, oatmeal and honey. The Office sent a letter to the company, which indicated that love is not an ingredient of the product, so you need to get rid of it.
"On your label Nashoba granola contains the ingredient "love" - says in a letter. “Ingredients that are declared on a food label or labeling must be identified by their common name...Love is not an ingredient and is considered an intermediate material.”
According to Bloomberg, the bakery sells merchandise with "love" in about 120 stores, mainly in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
It is not yet clear whether the company will continue to write “love” as an ingredient in the future.
In addition to "love", they found dirt in granols, which indicates a violation of sanitary conditions, and also threatens the health of customers.
The Director General thanked the agency for attentiveness and promised to correct controversial points in the coming week.
