Which passport gives more freedom and guarantees
Henley & Partners, which helps private clients choose their country of residence, has presented the Passport Index 2018. It includes a list of countries ranked according to the level of freedom of movement they provide to their citizens.
The first place was taken by the passport of Japan, with its help the Japanese can visit 190 countries of the world without a visa - this is a record figure for the "Index", analysts said, according to Vc.ru. The country managed to overtake Singapore (189 countries with a visa-free visit), gaining visa-free access to Myanmar.
The third place is occupied by Germany, South Korea and France (188 countries). Denmark, Italy, Spain, Finland and Sweden (187 countries) are located on the fourth.
Russia dropped from 46 to 47 ranking place, while increasing the number of countries available without visas to 119. At the beginning of 2018, Russians could visit only 110 countries of the world without a visa.
Ukraine ranks in the 41 ranking (128 countries), Kazakhstan - 69 rank (76 countries).
