'Flew away like a kite': McDonald's poured tea with marijuana to a visitor
A South Carolina man claims that after buying sweet tea at McDonald's, he felt weird and "flew away like a kite."
Parrish Brown went to McDonald's on Hilton Head Island and ordered 10 chicken nuggets, a double cheeseburger and sweet iced tea and an extra serving of lemon (“extra lemon”), writes Fox News.
Brown believes fast food workers thought “extra lemon” is the street name for marijuana.
After the man drank the tea, he found three bags of “weed” in his cup.
Brown said he had never tried marijuana, so he did not understand the taste.

“I’ve never tried marijuana in my life, so after I started drinking the tea, I immediately felt weird,” said the 24-year-old man from Charleston.
Beaufort County Sheriff's spokesman, Major Bob Bromeage, said the investigation is ongoing.
“Our top priority is always the safety and well-being of our customers. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement,” a McDonald's spokesperson wrote in an email.
