An American wants to influence the process of obtaining citizenship by her husband, who has changed her. Reports about it New York Daily News.
The New York Daily News has received a letter with a story of a deceived American woman and a request for consultation.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, realizes that her husband only married her for the green card. After they were painted, the husband applied for a fiancé immigrant visa and received a green card. After moving to the United States, he needed surgery, the recovery from which took 9 months. After a successful rehabilitation course, he began to “follow” other women. Now the woman wants to know how she can prevent her husband from being granted citizenship.
“Your husband received a green card valid for 2 years only because he immigrated to the United States within two years of registering your marriage. To get a new card without your signature, he must prove that he is a victim of domestic violence, that he is in danger if he returns home, or that he married you out of love and the marriage was annulled or dissolved,” said consultant.
