Ivanka Trump may become head of the World Bank
The daughter of US President Donald Trump Ivanka Trump, an adviser to the White House, is one of the candidates considered as a replacement for the outgoing World Bank President Jim En Kim.

The World Bank, headquartered in Washington, DC, was founded after World War II to finance economic development projects in emerging economies. It is traditionally headed by the Americans. Kim's sudden departure from his position as head of the bank came as a surprise to employees and raised many questions about the future institution, writes Business Insider.
Other possible candidates for the position of the head of the World Bank include the Director of the Agency for International Development, the Map of the State, the Deputy Minister of the United States and International Affairs for David Malpsa and the former Assistant Head of the Chairs
Unlike other proposed candidates, Ivanka has no work experience in the economy of international trade, but she has extensive business experience. Prior to joining the White House, she served as vice president of mergers and acquisitions at the Trump Organization. She also ran her own fashion line, which was closed last summer.
President Trump also nominated Ivanka as a replacement for Haley in the position of US representative to the UN, but ultimately appointed State Department spokesman Heather Nauert to this position after he had concerns about nepotism.
“It’s so nice that everyone wants Ivanka Trump to be the new US Ambassador to the United Nations. She would be incredible, but I can already hear cries of nepotism! We have great people who want the job,” Trump tweeted at the time.
A spokesman for the US Department of the Treasury announced that the agency had received “a significant number of recommendations regarding good candidates” and “began an internal review process” to select a candidate for nomination to the board of directors of the World Bank.
Recall 7 January 2019 year Jim En Kim made an unexpected announcement of his resignation. In addition, he had to take the position of the head of the World Bank until 2022 a year. But now it is observed by 1 February 2019 of the year.
