STEPS Theater invites viewers to the premiere of the play "White on White" based on the play by the modern Bulgarian playwright Maya Pramatarova.

The author of the play examines the fate of a modern woman against the background of a portrait of Emily Dickinson. The heroine of the play is a homeless actress, unwinding a tangle of past and unfulfilled passions, intertwining her own memories and stories with the biography of the poet she adored. Maya Pramatarova - playwright and art critic, worked at the Bulgarian National Theater and the Sfumato Theater Laboratory. She is a visiting professor at the National Academy of Theater and Cinematography, as well as a visiting professor at the New Bulgarian University and Moscow State Linguistic University. Her plays in different languages ​​are staged on the stages of the USA, Russia, Canada, Bulgaria, Belgium.

STEPS Theater was founded in 1997 in New York by director and playwright Slava Stepnov. The theater, staging performances in different languages, organically balances at the intersection of different cultures with actors of different nationalities and theater schools. STEPS is a participant and winner of many international theater festivals. For more than 20 years, STEPS has been surprising audiences with unexpected and expressive performances based on plays of modern drama, as well as subtle and lively touches of the world's classics.

The performances "White on White" will take place in New York on September 23, 24, 25, 26, as well as on October 1, 2, 3 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday - at 19:30; on Sundays - at 14:00 and 18: 00).
