'This is Obama's problem': Trump said he would not allow Russia to annex Crimea
The American leader again accused Obama of seizing Ukrainian territory by Russia.

US President Donald Trump said that he would never allow the annexation of Crimea. As the publication writes, “Today“, he stated this at a press conference for journalists following the NATO summit in Brussels, answering the question of whether he recognizes Crimea as “Russian”.
According to him, Putin was able to seize the Crimea because of the former US President Barack Obama, but at the same time he could not clearly answer what was waiting for the peninsula further.
“This is an interesting question. Long before I came here (became president. - Author), Obama allowed this. The fact is that they (Russians - Author) are building bridges to Crimea, they just opened a large bridge that they started building years ago. But would I allow this to happen? No. But Barack Obama allowed it to happen. What will happen to Crimea now? I can't answer this question for you. “I’m not crazy about Crimea, but that’s Barack Obama’s problem, not mine,” Trump said.
Let us recall that in June a scandal erupted over the alleged words of American President Donald Trump during the G7 summit in Canada. Information appeared in the media from certain two unnamed diplomatic sources that Trump call Crimea Russian. The US president explained this by saying that the inhabitants of the peninsula speak Russian.
On the eve of the meeting of the US and Russian presidents in Helsinki on July 16, the West is discussing what Ukraine can expect from the negotiations. Atlantic Council experts predicted that Trump will not “leak” Crimea to Putin. They are confident that if the American president tries to take “wrong steps,” this will greatly affect relations with allies in Europe and even his own comrades.
