Former member of the group 'Lapis Trubetskoy' fell into a coma after beating in Belarus

The attack on the former guitarist of the popular Belarusian band “Lyapis Trubetskoy” Ruslan Vladyko happened on June 6, but it became known only now.

As a result of the incident, the musician received a severe head injury and fell into a coma, the report said on Trubetskoy group Facebook page, in which Vladyko is currently playing.

“It is difficult to report about it, but it makes no sense to remain silent. 6 June, our friend and colleague Ruslan “Pan” Vladyko was severely beaten and robbed in Minsk. Ruslan received a severe head injury and is currently in resuscitation, in a coma, ”the report says.

Colleagues of the victim added that “the situation is very serious,” and asked all those who are not indifferent to “think about Ruslan and wish him not just a speedy recovery, but also return to the ranks.”

The band did not cancel the planned concerts - guitarists from other groups agreed to replace Vladyko.

Producer Yevgeny Kalmykov said that on the evening of June 6, Vladyko went to a bar near his house, from where he went out with an unknown person. An hour later, the guitarist was taken to intensive care. With him at that moment there was no money, no bank cards, no mobile phone, writes RBC.

According to the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, Sergei Kabakovich, a criminal case has been opened into the incident.

"It turns out all the circumstances of the 6 June event," he said.

The Lyapis Trubetskoy group existed in 1989 – 2014, after which it split into groups of Trubetskoy and Brutto. Among her most famous songs are “You threw”, “Capital”, “Warriors of Light”.
