Belarusian startup from dozens of App Store has attracted $ 1 million investment
Authors of the Belarusian application Masquerade offer everyone in real time to try on virtual masks. This can be done using the camera on the phone. As notes edition rusbase.com, such a funny idea appealed to a private investor, who invested more than $ 1 million in the development of an unusual application.
Now the service is really is included in the top ten among free applications in the App Store and, as the developers told the publication, “ranks first in the App Store in more than 60 countries and is the most popular application in the US App Store.”
The deal was conducted in February of this year. However, the name and the share received by the private investor are not disclosed. According to the authors of MSQRD, over the course of a month, the number of application installations has grown from 1 million to 10 million. The application itself became available just over a year ago.
