The director of the school taught without education for 30 years: he was considered the best teacher

In Australia, the director of one of the most prestigious private schools in Melbourne, for several decades, deceived everyone, claiming that he had received a higher education. It is reported by Mel.fm.

Neil Lenny from 1976 to 2008 falsified his documents confirming his right to teach in leading private schools. He dropped out of all the universities he entered and never received a higher education diploma. During his career, he became director of Caulfield Grammar School - one of the most respected educational institutions in Melbourne.

The 72-year-old teacher has pleaded guilty to forgery and financial gain through deception. He used his father's papers to get the job. Thus, the man managed to deceive several employers, including Mount Scopus Memorial Colleges, Highlaybury, Caulfield Grammar School and Overnewton Anglican Community College.

Despite his lack of education, Lenny taught physics and mathematics. His students spoke highly of their teacher. Professor Sharon Levin, director of the Doherty Institute, is one of Lenny's students. She is one of the leading experts in Australia who has made a major contribution to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

“He was one of my most inspiring teachers,” Levine said of Neil Lenny, who taught her physics in the late 1970s.

Other students also referred to Lenny as an outstanding teacher who helped them discover their talents and motivated them to study further.

According to Lenny, there is nothing terrible about the lack of education for teachers. In a letter to the publication, the former director claims that people without qualifications "can easily master the content [of disciplines] up to grade 10 and even higher."
