Desserts with pieces of metal: dangerous sweets are withdrawn from sale in the USA
Kroger Co. recently announced the recall of various baked goods due to the potential for containing metal fragments. If you've purchased any baked goods in recent weeks, you should definitely take a close look at these items. Please note that all recalled products were marketed under the Country Oven brand. Edition BGR has published a list of recalled products.
In total, the review includes about 20 unique products. Regarding how the metal fragments might have ended up in the finished product, the company said the metal fragments could somehow have gotten into the starch used in the baking process.
