Santa Claus Village: A Snowy Tale Nestled in the Middle of Sunny California
In California, at an altitude of about 2000 meters, a fabulous Santa Claus Village is located among giant spruce trees. Since the morning there are hundreds of children who want to get into a fairy tale. This is stated in the video "Voices of America".
Guests are greeted by an elf concierge who tells visitors where to go and what to see.
Also here guests are met by Santa's brother King Kelvin and his wife Queen Wisdom. They tell the story of their family and ancient legends.
After meeting the royal couple, you can meet Mrs. Klaus. Santa's wife arranges tea parties and teaches children etiquette.
“I end each tea-drinking with a dear to my heart talk about the spirit of Christmas. This is love, generosity and how to live in love. They tell me what Santa gave them, but at the end I ask them what they give, what they give to their mom and dad, to their family. You know, something happens to the kids during this conversation. They open up and light up even more, ”says Mrs. Klaus.

Children can also visit a bakery and try traditional gingerbread cookies or make a toy with their own hands. Further, the road leads to a cozy Santa Claus hut - there is a Christmas tree, a large book of wishes and letters from children with requests for gifts.
Santa gives children sweets and takes pictures with them. Fortunately for children there is no limit! He also claims that he is a real Santa, and not a disguised actor.
“I bring joy, happiness and try to make dreams come true,” says Santa.
After meeting with him, children can climb the rocks or go ice skating. For many residents of eternally warm California, visiting a place where everything is covered with snow is a great pleasure.
“It's a snowy tale, it's amazing here. I can’t imagine anything better for the holidays ”, - the visitor Erica shares her impressions.
In the evening, the whole Santa family gathers for a festive parade and the solemn lighting of the Christmas tree.
After meeting Santa Claus and his entire family, visitors to the park can sit by the fire, warm themselves and drink hot cocoa.
The owner of the park says this place is historical. Santa Claus Village is the first franchise park in the United States, opened in 1955, 6 weeks before Disneyland.
In the 1970s, the park went bankrupt and the village remained abandoned. But in 2014, local entrepreneurs decided to bring the fairy tale back to life.
“When I was looking for something new to do in my life, since I come from here, I decided to take a chance and open this park, try to revitalize our community. And we succeeded - we created a lot of jobs, ”says park owner Bill Johnson.
The park is very popular, because it offers not only a meeting with Santa, but also the opportunity to plunge into a Christmas winter fairy tale.
