Deported illegal criminal returned to the United States and was arrested for child pornography
An illegal undocumented immigrant and a registered sex offender who was already deported from the United States returned to the country and was detained for child pornography.
According to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, 44-year-old Miguel Martinez was arrested and charged with 100 counts of possession of pornography involving minors under the age of 13, one count of producing such products involving children under 13 and one count of inappropriate sexual conduct in regarding a minor under the age of 13, writes Fox10.
Officials say Martinez was deported on 2005 and is a registered sex offender in California.
“Online crimes against children cause ongoing harm,” Landry said. “Every time someone views one of these videos or images, a child is being revictimized.”
In a tweet, the attorney general said he hoped the case "will be the wake-up call everyone needs to join the President of the United States and build the wall."
