Do what you want and get paid: Swedes will open an original vacancy

Swedish artists came up with a position without duties, but with a salary and permanent employment, writes Work.ua.

Simon Goldin and Jakob Senneby from Sweden will begin an original art experiment in 2025 - eternal employment without job responsibilities. The artists offer one lucky person to receive a regular salary, but to do only what he wants (if he wants to idle, that’s also possible).

At the same time, salaries will be increased periodically - a special fund has been created for the vacancy, which already contains about $650. The organizers expect to collect an amount that will be enough to pay for 000 years - this is exactly the period of time that the artists took for “eternal employment.”

The applicant who receives the position has the right to tell everyone about his happiness or, conversely, to remain anonymous. He will also be able to resign at any time, and the post will be given to the next applicant.

It is worth noting that there is still one limitation in the work: the employee will have to report every morning to the Korsvägen railway station, which is currently under construction in Gothenburg, Sweden. Therefore, even at this job you won’t be able to sleep until lunch - but then you can do whatever your heart desires all day.

After 5 years, when the vacancy is published, applications from all applicants - from any country in the world - will be considered.
