What to do if you have lost your confirmation number for the green card lottery
On May 6 available the results of the DV-2024 green card lottery and you can check them only by the confirmation number assigned to the participant immediately after registration. But in the six months that pass from the moment of registration to the announcement of the results, the number could well have been lost. We tell you what to do in this case.

You can check the status of your application as a lottery participant until September 30, 2024 only on the official website www.dvprogram.state.gov. On the site you need to enter the confirmation number you received after registration, the name and year of birth of the applicant.
For those who have lost or cannot find their confirmation number, the State Department website offers the option to retrieve it.
