Read as president: what books are advised by Trump and Obama
One of them is a famous book fan; the other is a much bigger fan of Fox News and late-night cable television. Yet both President Trump and Barack Obama have one thing in common when it comes to literature: their desire to recommend books to the general public.
During 2018, Trump mentioned numerous books in his Twitter account (the handy Top 10 was compiled by The Guardian), while Obama often spoke in detail about his favorite readings on talk shows and news interviews both before and after and during his time at the White House.
The question is, how different are Trump and Obama's proposals?
