Over 800 birds have invaded the family home in Southern California and left behind a 'surprise'

A family in California found 800 birds in their home. How they got there and what they did to them, the newspaper said. USA Today.

A family from Torrance, California, returned home after dinner on April 21 to find migratory birds invading their home through a chimney. The family's last name was not disclosed at their request.

The video shows the birds circling over the house before rushing into the chimney.

“It's difficult to explain in words. If you don’t see it with your own eyes, you’ll never believe it,” said the head of the family.

The local animal control authorities advised the family to leave the doors open so the birds could fly out. The only problem was that they didn't want to leave.

And when the pack did not leave their home, the family decided to stay at the hotel, while their relative, Patrick Belleville, came to try to drive out the intruders.

“They acted like they wanted to fly away, but for some reason they didn’t,” Belleville said. “They were just flying everywhere, in every room in the house, in every bathroom.”

In the end, the flock did leave home and, as expected, migrated through Southern California to the north.

Before the migratory birds left the premises, they left a “gift” for parting.

“It was impossible to walk in the living room, the kitchen, or the hallway without stepping on bird droppings,” the owner of the house stated with annoyance.
