Best Buy will trade your smartphone for a brand new Google Pixel 7 and pay extra

On October 13, Google presented the new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones. Both phones have refined designs, and the cameras help the Pixel 7 Pro really stand out from the low-end Pixel 7. Retailers seem to like them a lot too. They run promotions for both models. The Google Store offers trade-in deals, while Amazon offers gift cards, and Best Buy has upped the ante: you can get both. Right now, you can get up to $650 off the Pixel 7 Pro with some trade-in devices, plus you'll get a $200 Best Buy gift card, and on the Pixel 7 you can get up to $600 off and a $100 gift card. This means that if you have the right phone to trade in, Best Buy will not only give you the flagship Pixel 7 for free, but will also pay you for it.

An important note about trade-in items here is that they cannot exceed the value of the phone, so if you try to trade in, say, an iPhone 11 Pro Max, you will not be able to get a Pixel 7 in return, but you will be able to trade it in for a Pixel 7 Pro .

Best Buy's suggestions are that you need to activate your phone right away through Best Buy at AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Google Fi, but this offer works for phones with the Activate Later feature, where you can insert any SIM card, which you want. Before you activate it, you can click "activate later" and wait until the phone arrives safe and sound. Or just insert an existing SIM card into it.

Another big difference with the Pixel 7: if you're using Verizon or AT&T, you'll need to make sure you're buying a model for a specific carrier. For the Pixel 7, it will cost an additional $100 as it includes the mmWave cost, but for the Pixel 7 Pro, all models cost the same.

Gift cards are issued as e-Gift Certificates for Best Buy or Best Buy.com and will be delivered within 60 days of your phone being delivered, although in most cases they will arrive within a couple of days. This means that you will be able to use this $200 bonus as early as Black Friday, and certainly no later than Christmas.

Promotion ends October 23rd, so don't delay.
