White House releases new anti-Semitism strategy
On the morning of May 25, a new strategy for combating anti-Semitism, developed by the US presidential administration, was published. Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) actively advocated the creation of an interagency task force to combat anti-Semitism, which prepared this strategy, and also regularly advised the White House administration on security issues for Jewish communities.
“Jewish communities across the United States thank President Biden for developing a sweeping plan to combat rising anti-Semitism,” the president said. She also commended the White House for reaffirming the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance's (IHRA) working definition of anti-Semitism.
“The unprecedented surge in anti-Semitism in the United States in recent years has caused grave concern in Jewish communities, and the Jewish Federations looks forward to working with Congress, the Office of the President, and community organizations to improve the safety of our communities, work together to combat all forms of hate, and make our country a stronger place.” safe,” Platt concluded.
