Immigrants or their descendants in the United States founded 44 of the 100 largest companies in the United States, including giants such as Apple, Ford, and AT&T.

As the National Geographic, immigrant entrepreneurs have always contributed to US economic growth: first- or second-generation Americans played an important role in creating almost half of the Fortune 500 companies listed in 2018.

The list ranges from innovators such as Apple and Amazon to financial leaders such as AT&T and Procter & Gamble. The U.S. economy has provided opportunities—for immigrants and non-immigrants alike—to create companies that provide new services, products, and their own vision for the future.
