Jimmy Kimmel asked the Americans to find India on the map: what came of it
The team of the American show Jimmy Kimmel Live ("Jimmy Kimmel Live") conducted a survey among Americans, asking them to find India on a map.

According to "Lenta.ru report“, one of the survey participants pointed to Greenland instead of India, another to Japan, and a third to the Arabian Peninsula. Another passerby, who became the hero of the issue, pointed to India, but said that the American state of Texas was located there. He then pointed to Africa and said it was South America.

TV presenter Jimmy Kimmel explained that such a survey is dedicated to the day of the Italian navigator Christopher Columbus, who discovered America in Europe in 1492. In some US states this holiday is celebrated on October 12, and in others - on the second Monday of October.
Kimmel joked that Columbus did not deserve worldwide recognition, because until the end of his days he thought that he had opened India and the way to China. “Columbus missed nine thousand miles (14,4 thousand kilometers),” said the host.
In July 2018, the Kimmel team asked the Americans to name at least one country on the map without any designations. Many respondents indicated continents when asked to name specific countries.
