Amazon plans to hire 30 000 people and holds large-scale events for this purpose in six cities of America.

On Tuesday, 17 September, Amazon Career Day (Amazon career day) will be held in only six US cities: in Arlington, Virginia (recently opened the company's second headquarters in the USA); Boston Chicago; Dallas Nashville and Seattle, writes CNBC.

The e-commerce giant employs people for permanent jobs, from employees at execution centers (entry-level experience) to software developers and computer vision specialists.

The company offers both full-time and part-time positions. The employees who will be hired will work at Amazon's headquarters, technology centers, data centers and fulfillment centers. Pay starts at a minimum of $15 per hour.

Participants are encouraged to apply for a job directly with Amazon or take part in information sessions on how to start working with the company as an online retailer, shipping partner, self-published author, and so on. Applicants can also be interviewed.

The new companies will also participate in the Upskilling 2025 initiative, which provides for an investment of $ 700 million in training programs for 100 000 employees. The company's fastest-growing technology positions over the past five years included a data specialist, solution architect, network engineer, and web development engineer. In addition to technology, the company has significantly expanded the contingent of data mapping specialists, employees of execution centers, program managers and marketers.

Full-time workers can expect to receive medical benefits from day one, the 401 (k) match pension plan, and up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave.

“Amazon has created more than 300 new jobs in the United States over the past decade—and we are proud to continue to invest and create opportunities for people across the country,” said founder and CEO Jeff Bezos. “These are jobs with highly competitive compensation and full benefits from day one, as well as training opportunities to gain new skills in in-demand fields such as robotics and machine learning.”

The company is also preparing for the holiday season, hiring tens of thousands of part-time employees across the country.
