Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts restored: now he can post again
The 45th U.S. President Donald Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts were restored on Feb. 9, allowing him to post on social media again, a Meta spokesperson confirmed. Writes about it CNN.
Trump's reinstatement comes weeks after Facebook's landmark announcement that he would restore access to the president after a two-year ban on the president's account following the January 6, 2021 uprising.
Meta previously said it would be weeks before Trump could access his account. The company speculated that the delay was to give it time to place restrictions on Trump's account, which could result in him being banned again if he violates company rules.

When Trump's Facebook and Instagram accounts are reactivated, he will once again have access to vast and powerful communication and fundraising platforms just in time for the start of his third US presidential campaign.
Twitter reinstated Trump's account in November 2022. Since then, he has not posted anything on that platform.
Trump's current adviser said the president never used Facebook the way he used Twitter, which became his main means of communicating with his constituents as president until it was removed from the platform after the January 6 Capitol was stormed. However, the Trump campaign is likely to jump at the opportunity to resume using Facebook.
