Los Angeles Airport allowed passengers to carry marijuana on a plane
Los Angeles International Airport allowed passengers older than 21 to carry with them on board an aircraft up to 28,5 grams of marijuana classic and 8 grams of concentrated marijuana. He writes about it WTOL.
The airport has introduced a new rule because California has legalized marijuana for recreational purposes. The new law began with 1 January 2018.
However, marijuana is still illegal under federal law. This means that TSA officers who work for the federal government may interfere with drug trafficking.
In addition, the presence of marijuana in baggage can create problems at the point of arrival if drugs are prohibited there.
